Welcome to Kellen James Studio! Allow me to introduce Kellen James, an American Kennel Club registered Whippet.  A true sighthound with extreme speed, he is able to snag a bird in flight, zig zag with a rabbit, and leap over 6 foot fences with a single bound. The first Whippet I have ever owned, his photogenic style prompted me to take his cell-phone photos to the next level.

One Nikon camera and a several lens investments later, I have developed a love of action, running, and flight photography. I am particularly passionate about capturing animals in their natural environment, allowing the photos to speak for themselves. I found captions do not become necessary where body language imprints the pixels.

Spending time at Agility, Lure Coursing, FastCat, Dock Diving, and Confirmation Events has helped me realize I am not the only one desiring photographs that capture the essence of joy and memories to be cherished and passed on for generations.
